HDRify
Private, on-device SDR to HDR video conversion for iPhone.
Privacy Policy
Effective August 19, 2026
HDRify is designed to process videos privately on your device. We do not collect, upload, sell, or share personal information.
Video processing
Videos you select are copied to HDRify’s temporary app storage and processed locally on your iPhone. HDRify does not upload your videos to a server. Temporary processing files are removed when you leave the editing session or when the app next cleans up an interrupted session.
Photos access
HDRify uses Apple’s PhotosPicker to let you choose a video. It requests add-only Photos access when you save an export. HDRify does not browse or collect the rest of your photo library.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. HDRify does not receive or store your payment details. The app checks your App Store entitlement on-device to determine whether Pro features are available.
Local app data
HDRify stores a timestamp used to determine free-export eligibility in Apple’s Keychain. If iCloud Keychain is enabled, Apple may synchronize that item between your devices. HDRify’s developer cannot access this information.
Analytics and tracking
HDRify does not contain advertising, analytics, tracking, user accounts, or third-party data collection SDKs.
Retention and deletion
HDRify has no developer-operated account system or server-side user database. Temporary video files are deleted locally as described above. You can remove the app and its local files at any time through iOS.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the effective date on this page will be updated. Questions about privacy can be sent to hdrify@protonmail.com.

- Video conversion happens on your iPhone and can take longer for 4K or high-frame-rate clips.
- Keep HDRify open while processing. If iOS interrupts a conversion, choose the video again and retry.
- If an existing subscription is not recognized, tap Save or Share and choose Restore on the paywall.
- To save an export, allow HDRify add-only access to Photos when prompted.
